I have been printing these hockey shirts on 3 seperate occasions. Tonight while outputing the design I notice the colors (Red & Black) Are far less intense. There is definately not as much sublimation dye being layed down on the paper. My Nozzle Checks are perfect but it is just like a totally different print. Still perfect but much less intense. It's the same file I used for two previous orders. I am using a 4880 Epson and Corel 11

Has anyone had this issue?

I assume when you say the settings are the same, you mean the settings in Corel and the printer. I would try to see if you can find an earlier file of the graphic (maybe if you emailed it to the customer or someone else in your company for some reason) and see if that prints the same as the current one.

Not sure if this is it, but is it the same dye sub paper as well? Some paper does a better job at releasing the ink while other paper is design to dry the print on the paper faster. Think of it like a teetor-totor: you can either get a high release or a fast dry... but not both.

Similar thing could be said if you switch apparel brands or if the manufacturer did something different to the apparel. This happens more frequently in dtg printing (because shirts are made in several different factories for the same one brand) compared to sublimation - so this is probably not the same answer.

Not sure if any of these will help... but it can get you in the right direction. Good luck.

I am getting the same print results in Photoshop as well. It must be a printer setting. I just did some beer mugs and noticed the print is lighter and less intense using the Phoshop file.

Both instances were using the same paper, substrate, and press. You can actually visually see the difference right on the transfer papers. I found 2 left over transfers from a week ago on the same job and the ones I printed out last night are much lighter than the ones I printed out last week. I even reprinted last nights prints to print at a higher quality and intensity. It's like I have it set on super economy mode or something. Luckily I do not have anything due until this Friday, so hopefully I can figure this thing out.

Mark, one quick note. I love the Printer Jockey software. I have not had a single clog on my 4880 since I have had it!! I also run a couple 1280. Is there any upgrade or patch to include them with your sofware?
