Hello everyone.Been reading the forums forever.Thought I should sign up.

I print one-offs of designs on canvas.Been using a Canon Pro image

but I want to be able to do my designs on heavier materials, and this

doesn't allow me to do that. So I've been tossing around how to handle

that.Screen print or?

By 'designs,' are you talking photographic, or solid colour?

Also, what type of 'heavier materials' do you mean? Fabrics? Banner material? Aluminium sheet? Mousemats? Placemats? .... the list is nearly endless! :)

A little more info and I'm sure you will get the help you need.

I print on 100% cotton canvas-tote bags

Screen printing would require several screens as there are loads of colors

on some designs.Others are one or two colors.

Not photographs.Designs and logos. That type of thing.

I use JPSS on cotton tote bags, but any white in your images will be the colour of the bag. You could also use 3g Jet-Opaque You can use sublimation inks on both of these papers no problem. or inkjet dye and pigment inks. I doubt whether anyone washes a cotton tote so you needn't be too concerned about washability.
