for my future purchase, could anyone confirm to me which model printers between roland and mimaki print better reds and blues with their original inks. thanks in advance for replying

They should be very comparable in gamut between them. I do not have gamut sheets on them but from what i understand, they are very close.

If your worried about gamut they both have printers with light cyan and light magenta to get more colors. I have a dual cmyk setup (4 colors) for production. Oh and they both offer white and metallic inks... mimaki has a latex printer. I think mimaki offers more stuff and its cheaper. The take up reel is included. Also more inks available from aqueous to solvent, eco solvent, sublimation. Roland has only eco solvent
