I have been trying to cut out a name but when it tries to cut out the final letter (being of the name) it does not cut out the full letter. I have reset the Roland and it helped a little but still does not cut the full letter

Are you sure there is not a setting in your software (what kind are you using) that you are missing? I don't use roland, but do you have the pinch rollers in the correct place? I'm sure someone else will be along shortly to chime in as well.

My first question would be... How big is the material you are trying to cut on (15" or 20") and how long was the name? I find on the 15" wide rolls I have to keep whatever I am cutting no bigger than 11". Usually I do 10.5" to allow for a weeding box. And for the 20" I keep it around 17" to be safe. Just keep in mind you can only cut as wide as your pinch rollers are. And it is smaller than you think.
Good luck :)

On the GX64 you can cut directly from CorelDraw. Not cutting the last part is usually because the roller on the right hasn't been set to the end of the medium, the cut is longer than the medium or the origin hasn't been set properly.
On the GX64 I always set the medium in Corel at 450mm, that gives you a little room to manoeuver. So obviously none of your cut lines can go over this horizontal limit.

Ah sorry, my bad.
It's a couple of years since I worked on the shop floor. I meant the GX24 - this one.

I think it's because I worked for quite a few years with the CX24 before we got the GX24 and for some reason I think it should have a higher number. :)
