So I've been using my CE5000-40 for a couple of years but I think it's time I start to get really "good" with it.

Here's the problem:
I send the job to cut and it lays a few cuts and then stops. The cutter then says "no media." I just hit the enter button (on the cutter) and the job then continues as if nothing ever happened.

Any ideas?

Things seem pretty good, so I haven't done any reinstallation or anything.

This will be the first of a few issues I'd like help with overcoming.

It happens to me as well. It happens when the vinyl lifts up in the back and it is off the sensor. Not sure on the solution.

Yeah, the manual talks about the sensor as well as the fact that I'm directly under a light probably doesn't help. Might even depend on the color of the vinyl that reflects more than the black.
