I was trying to find out the maker of a shirt I have but can't get the RN search to load? Is is out of commission permanently?

Here's the shirt (I bought this shirt last summer at Ron Jon's and love it), I'd love to find a source for blanks and use this shirt for one of our designs. I looked up the RN# last year but wasn't ready to order and didn't write it down or save it, grrrrr.

Worked fine for me. The RN comes back as an Anvil Knitwear tee. Probably a #479 but I'm not aware of an anvil long sleeve tee in lime green?

Thanks all, I tried the link on my iPhone and got the same error message. I'm going to switch to Mozilla and see if it works there. If it does, I guess we can assume it's a Safari issue since I use that on my Mac and my cell.

As to the shirt, I'm wondering if it is exclusive to Ron Jon's then. What a bummer since I absolutely love the shirt, it fits great and has worn very well.

Is it only the link here on the forums that is not working? Did you try to search the RN database directly from the FTC website? Because I got the same error message you got when using the link. But the FTC site works fine.

I was able to search the RN number and got the same result as everyone else. It's an Anvil Knitwear shirt. So the mystery is solved. Anvil is a very common supplier, so I doubt the blank is exclusive to Ron Jon. Try ordering a few samples from Anvil. Or better yet, just call them and ask which style Ron Jon sources from them.

Well, there ya go. I had no idea there was an FTC site, I thought it was something exclusive to the wonderful world of t-shirtforums.

I was planning on checking with Anvil, but was pretty sure they wouldn't tell some nobody like me what some big shot place like Ron Jon's was using. Can't hurt to try .

If Ron Jon is using a common supplier like Anvil and keeping Anvil's RN number on the labels, then there isn't much of a secret. If they wanted to keep their sources under wraps, they would use a private label manufacturer and have their own RN number. So don't feel like you're asking something you're not supposed to.

Anvil is not an exclusive private label manufacturing facility. They produce blank shirts and wholesale them to garment decorators and clothing brands. If you are interested in buying their shirts, they are going to encourage you to place an order, not try to turn you away.
