Does anyone know if Rit Dye can be used in a clear water based/discharge base for color?

I was thinking about using Rit Dye with my clear discharge base too. Did you ever try it? I like the idea of mixing the colors myself in small batches.

I think the discharge would discharge the rit. Garment dyes and ink pigments are not even close to being the same thing. I would be interested to see the results. I hope the mixing of unknowns don't lead to an odd reaction for you. I like the creative thinking though.
