I'm having trouble with halftones. I have heard about "RIP" software. The only programs I have found are very expensive. Any ideas of getting around these expensive programs and still getting a good exposure?
I just have Corelx4 and I'm converting my shaded colors into halftone. That works ok. My problem is when I get a detailed photo with alot of shading it just dose not look very good in the halftone from Corel. I used a trial version of a rip software I got of the web and the difference was night and day. The only problem was the software was around 500$.
