Do i need to use RIP software to get the paper sensor to align correctly and consistently? another thread i posted had a reply that suggested that i did, but im still not quite sure if it is true.

EDIT: i was able to get the printer aligned at exactly 1 inch, however, the printer head wouldnt move afterwards, and the two flashing red lights came on. any ideas on what this is?

you'll have to get teh adjustment program for your printer to diagnose the error, i can tell you what the error code means if you can get it to me
