Rip programs?

Does anyone know where to find a decent rip program for half-tones for full color printing without paying an arm and a leg? Thanks.

Accurip has a free trial on their website. You can try it out there. It's my suggestion

i second that. i use accurip and it is a great program at a good price as far as rips go ($500). the free trial does not have a watermark so you can use it for production when you try it out.
