Ricoh 3110 Nozzle Check Yellow is Magenta
I just replaced magenta with SG cartridge
I didn't have to print the last few days, but when I did a nozzle check, Yellow was Magenta. So I did a head cleaning and then a nozzle check a few times. But I was getting some random breaks in my nozzle check that told me my capping station needed cleaning.
It was like a ton of ink is flowing and filling the capping station. after 2 head cleanings I finally got yellow to show up but magenta is randomly showing up in blue and a bit in yellow.
I go back and check the capping station & it is full of Magenta!
Now yellow is Magenta on my nozzle check agan!
Anyone have any idea what is going on?

I recommend the following maintenance for Ricoh’s:
Capping station
Belt cleaning
Encoder strip and wheel
Maybe every 6 months to a year.

It is the capping station and I can not get it to clear.
I just went through hurricane Irma down here in the Keys and it seems having power off for so many weeks was the death of this old gal who served me faithfully for 3 long hard years.
