Basically a longevity question...it looks to me like the rhinestuds and
nailheads would be prone to scratching with the color and shine
wearing off the surface.
Do those of you that work with them see this?

The nailheads are really a neat look and there are a bunch of great
colors...but I wouldn't want to use them if they don't hold up well.

I have not noticed a problem with them. If they are getting scratched up then possibly it is the way the garment is being laundered. Tossing them in with a load of jeans isn't a good idea. The denim is too abrasive and could rub the color off a rhine stud. Turn the garment wrong side out, wash on gentle cycle and hang to dry.

I haven't used a lot of nail heads, but I've not seen a problem with the studs. My husband has a shirt I made for him about 3-4 years ago with orange studs, and they still have their full color. A few have finally fallen off, but no loss in color
