Hey guys, I'm in the process of setting up a blog/shop. I've already asked peoples opinion on the site as far as looks and usabilty are concerned, but now I'm asking for some feedback on the actual designs of the t shirts. Everything is a work in progress but I'd love some direct advice/critisim

The main site is Joe Crogan

And the T shirt shop is here

Spreadshop

So what do you guys think?

Hi Joe
I looked at your site and My suggestion would be first the JC logo/masthead is fine if your name is recognizable as say Robert Crumb and if you are then discount this part. the logo doesn't say what you do or are, your t-shirt logo/art does and I feel work better than the bold font.
2. If you are promotion your work, why use photos? draw them. Use your style to familiarize people with your work.
3 your shirts are fine but to me your line work is a good carry over and is consistent. If you are going to have different styles maybe use a company that evokes a stable of artists as Push-pin studios
But Joe what the **** do I know I am a cartoonist

Thanks for the reply guys!

To Guy, you make a good point about the title, I think I will alter it to include some artwork, or something more creative to show off my drawing, thanks for the advice.

At the moment just trying to find a feel for what kind of drawing works on a t shirt as a design, probably going to divide the shirts into a few seperate 'lines' so they each have their own look etc.

Thanks again for the advice, much appreciated!

Hey Joe if you find the answer let me know! Good luck, keep trying
love it! reminds me a little of the great Daniel Johnston illustrations. I love your style though its very individual.......................
funny designs, your website is cool, the spread shop kinda fails to deliver, I think i would dig a little blurb about each shirt, something funny or random or the inspiration for the design you know get a little humor or learn alittle bit about you in the process of buying a shirt.
Thanks for the reply guys, I've changed the header to a more illustrated one, I've got alot of work to do to the spreadshirt store, Ive got a photoshoot lined up for the t shirts, so hopefully it will make it a bit more intresting, thanks again for the advice!
