Hi all, am after some advice, i have a ricoh aficio 3300 printer that i used to use about 6 years ago with sawgrass inks which has been stored ever since. I am starting the business up again and have been looking online for new technology etc. Ive seen chromeblast inks around-should i be using these for tshirts and mugs as this is all i will be doing?
Also if i do use them do i still have to buy the special sub tshirts or can i use normal cotton?
finally, any pointers on how to get the printer up and running again ie cleaning etc.
many thanks all!!

Chromablast is only for tshirts. Mugs done on a Ricoh would be sublimation mugs made with sublimation inks.

Chromablast is just pigment inks doctored up a bit for tshirt application and uses a plastic release paper(sticker). You can find much cheaper pigment ink via other 3rd parties like Cobra and you can use many other release papers like JPSS with those.
