Rest in peace shirts

Ever since I received my heat press machine, I've been making personal t-shirts for people.
From birthday parties, perfomances etc. But lately I've been asked to make R.I.P t-shirts. I have seen some that other screen print and heat press shops make, but i dont know what program they use to make them and was wondering if i could receive a little help. I've tried asking other businesses but of course they're not going to tell you how to take they're customers away! So someone let me know asap! Thanks!

This may sound stupid but why would t be any different than making the other shirts you do now?
what are you trying to do that is different?
what software programs do you have? clipart?

Unsure what you're looking for, but tombstones aren't too hard to design. Here's a quickie I did with Corel that took me probably 5 minutes of doing, but 15 minutes of explaining and capturing :)

Phase 1:
First, I drew the base as a rectangle, 8" wide, 1.5" high

Next I drew a rectangle for the main part of the headstone, 6" wide, 5" high, I offset it by one inch on both sides to make it look better. I centered it on the base.

Next I drew a circle that gave me the top that I wanted, I resized it to be 6" wide to match our headstone, then clicked and dragged one of the side quadrants to the top of the node of our headstone.

Phase 2:
We weld it so that it becomes our completed shape (unless you want to do something different with the base).

Phase 3:
I contoured it by .1", this is just to highlight the gravestone. I applied two different colors just to show the contour, but we're going to apply a texture fill here in a moment.

Phase 4:
I applied a rock texture fill to it, had to play around with the settings to get something I liked.

Phase 5:
Put some text on. I just used text with a gold gradient, (linear, -45 degree angle, three part gold-white-gold).

Photos to match the phases below.

Are you talking about some sort of memorial rememberance type tee for friends and family?
Yeah...same question here. We do R.I.P shirts all the time and don't do anything different than any other heat pressed shirt (or vinyl or screenprint for that matter).
....for those who screen and are getting bigger orders, do 1 color halftone. Then you can do anything you and the program can think of.

Yes those. Because for the birthday shirts i just use premade letters and heat press those on...but i wanna know how to make the memorial shirts with pictures and such.

It sounds like your wanting a low volume solution which would be either DTG printing or heat transfer with a printer and transfer paper. you need to research what options are in your funding range and find a way toget your hands on some of the end product (decoratede shirt) and see how it looks and feels to you and decide what you think your customers will be willing to buy. Good luck.
Terry;)
I think you should go with white tees and a printer doing JPSS inkjet transfers. If you ever needed to do designs and wanted a screened feel you could order custom plastisol transfers.
Short run we do heat press. We try to come up with new ways to do it tho. All depends on the pics I get. Each one of the 3 in the shop I work at does it differently. Fades, clouds, crosses, some simple things can go along way.
