i was talking to the guy that im gonna be buying my equipment from and basically my order is

1 combo press
1 a3 desktop vinyl cutter
180 mugs
300 mousemats
20 rolls of vinyl

and i did abit of negotiating and was able to knock about $500 off his online price, it made me think, he's obviously still gonna be making money on the deal, probably atleast $100-200 or its not really worth him doing it at discount, i was thinking that it must be a pretty good business to get into, what do you guys reckon?

Like any other business, there is a good deal of competition. I also imagine it would take a good deal of capital to be able to buy equipment and supplies in the quantities that would allow you to turn a profit.

I would guess that the reason this vendor can give you that discount is because you're buying several items from him.
