Are the rollers griping the vinyl equally on both sides? If not the vinyl could be skewing as the cutter moves it back and forward.
Try slowing the cutting speed to see if it improves things.

I'm attempting to cut 100 pieces of a logo for a client. It's just a 2x2 piece repeated multiple times. In the beginning, the cuts are spot on but as the cutter goes to the next row, it begins to distort. I'm not allowed to show the logo but basically, part of the logo contains a perfect circle. On the fifth row of cuts, the cutter began cutting that circle as an oval.
I'm using Cadworxlive and Vector Cut. Could the software be the problem?
If you have other software you should try that to eliminate the software as a possible issue. I dont remember how vector cut works with cadworxlive...but if the data is not going to the plotter fast enough you will get some weird results.I'm new to vinyl cutting and I thought I had it figured out but I have a strange problem.

Hey guys...it looks like I unfortunately still have the problem sometimes. The larger the cut area, the more likely the cuts distort near the end.
I notice that sometimes, the vinyl tends to pick up a little bit when the knife lifts and goes to the next spot. Could this be the reason and does this mean I need a new knife?
