I tried searching the forums for an answer but didn't find any mention of it. Anyway, has anyone heard of OR tried removing photo emulsion from silkscreens with bleach?
Yeah it's possible, I used to know a guy who used a mixture of bleach and ajax, not real smart but effective.
Concentrated emulsion remover doesn't cost very much and also won't eat your mesh like bleach will. Not to mention personal health issues. Don't do it man!!
I believe it was the Ryonet training video that came with my screenprinting equipment that actually mentioned reclaiming with bleach. When I said this to my salesman that I buy my supplies from now, he yelled at me! Anyway, DON'T DO IT! It will eventually mess up your screens.
