Hi All,

I'd like to hear what experiences people have had with the Epson c120 refurbished printers.

I never buy refurbished electronics because usually they only fix the immediate problem, not what actually caused the problem in the first place, but I saw a few posts about this printer and thought it might be an exception to the rule. Has anyone had any probs with units purchased directly from Epson? Also, where did you get CISs for them?

Thanks,

Paintergirl

I also bought a refurbished from Epson, $31.00 and free delivery.
Normally people use to have not issues with refurbished printers, monitors, etc.
But mine was a lemon :( After a few weeks of received it, I opened it, installed the cartridges and it would not print,
at first one color, then other color, then it just said it ran out of yellow ink, end of the game.
And that one was the one it never printed on first place !!
The cartridges were brand new. But there was something
wrong with the print head.
Customer service said I have to call to technical support, and the would determine if I needed a replacement.
Customer service, like in any other big company, sucks.
I always use only Epson printers, for inkjet, but I will never buy from them again.
It was just my own experience, it doesn't mean it might happen very often.
I wish their customer service and their return policy were as good as their products.

I purchased 2 refurbished ones off epson a few months ago. I'm printing up a storm with one of them since all my laser printers are out of toner, need replacement parts that are pricy and i don't want to spend the $$$ right now. So my trust refurb is doing the job for me. At $39 for the printer you'd pay that much for a set of ink cartridges so you can't go wrong.

Just my 2 cents.

I purchased a refurbished C120 a couple of months ago. No problems.

I wanted a printer that uses pigment to do some transfers using opaque paper for darks. I don't do many of those so, I didn't want to make a large investment.

This printer fit the bill for me. I'm happy with it.
