For everyone who thinks they're gonna make a fortune selling t-shirts with sports figures or stolen images on them:

Reebok settles with Nike, agrees to recall Tebow products - Apr. 11, 2012

Notice how legal fees and costs were not awarded to either side. So even if you won (which you definitely would not), you'd probably still go out of business from the cost. Reebok took a chance and lost. They will still be okay, because they can afford the loss. Can you?

It amazes me how many topics are started here that are blatantly "can I steal this image or use this public figure to make lots of money with?"

I didn't read the article linked above but Reebok was dead wrong anyway. They were trying to be slick and got caught. When their contract expired they could sell off any existing merchandise but they went and created a new product to sell after Nike was granted the License. They should have known Nike was not going to let that fly.
