Hi peeps, can someone please recommend a cheap press to get started with? Thank You

Unfortunately a cheap press won't get you very far as accurate time, temperature and pressure are imperative. I have a Hotronix Fusion and am in love with the swing away and draw system. That way there is no working under the heat like with a clam shell.

A 'cheap' press probably won't be satisfactory. However, there are inexpensive transfer machines that are fully warranted and will provide good service for a start up business. Make sure you deal with a company who can provide customer service when needed.

I had cheap no name chinese heat press, but had problems getting enough pressure for a good transfer and then one day it just stopped working. I couldn't find any repair parts or information about repair.

I Replaced it with the Transpro 15x15 from Proworld and like it much better. It is a basic starter model but works well enough, although a little hard to open and close at high pressure. I wouldn't recommend anything cheaper.

I recently had a problem with one transfer design and Proworld customer service was great in helping me troubleshoot the problem (I wasn't using enough pressure).

Thanks guys , i’ll keep looking as my budget is on a shoestring just to get started and i’ll invest any money should i make into getting better equipment .

I know cheap isn’t always the best option even when starting out but i have little option at the moment.

Any more recommendations ?

My first press I bought was a 16x16 off of eBay. I had no problems with it doing vinyl and some plastisol transfers. When it came to bigger transfers I had some issues. A little hit and miss with the consistency. But overall it paid for itself in vinyl jobs.

I have a Sunie Seiki and have had no problems with it
