Hello .after reading 26 ish pages of this section I am ready to buy a virtuoso sg400 with sawgrass sublijet inks . I am primarily going to do mugs and would be printing 4-5 days . So to avoid clogging and as a newbie I think this Is the best option for me .And the mug press I m getting is George knight dk30
Any advice is appreciated before I dive into this ?

Any one with any advice please ?
If you're sure you're never going to do anything that needs a bigger format printer, then you'll be OK.. If you ever want to do full size on the front or back of T-shirts then you will kick yourself for not getting the SG-800. You can always use smaller paper in the SG-800 where you can't use the larger format papaer in the 400.

Great choice in mug press. The Geo Knight DK3's are well built and hold up. We have a few of them and have always been happy with the results we get. We use Epson printers so i cant really offer any info on the sawgrass printers.
We just replaced our Ricoh 3300 with the SG400
After 10 years and two Ricohs the SG400 is the sharpest sub printer to date.
Some of our customers have commented that the text on plates we have done looks like laser engraved!
We couldn’t be happier!
