Does anyone have any information on re-introducing ink into a flushed RJet5?

I have heard that air bubbles can damage the printhead if unnoticed, so I want to be sure to avoid this. I have a hunch you may have to draw ink through the lines with a syringe around the dampers, but I'm not totally sure.

Any input much appreciated, I've tried contacting resolute, but our conversation was cut short :/

Cut short?

You need to do three power cleans and you should be all done.
Reset all the carts and empty/reset the waste tank before starting.

Chances are you'll always have bubbles in ink lines at some point. The dampers act as the filter for this so you pop your ink in the bottles and run ink charges until it's flowing through the lines and primed into the head.

I wouldn't do it with a syringe, if the internals are right then there's no need.

Air will not damage piezo heads, but trapped air creates gaps similar to clogs. This is very rare an will hapen only if your printer runs out of ink, or there is a crack somewhere in the system.



After a flush, all you need is few power cleans to push the ink through
