Re-Installing Cut-3000 (GCC Bengal)

I had a computer crash so I am re-installing Cut-3000 on to a newly built computer....It is a frustrating exercise because the instruction manual is lacking.....

Any way, I have copied vlcd.exe to my hard drive.....I put it on the desktop because the instructions do not indicate where to place it....

I tried running VLCD and got an error message "The program can't start because USBAPI.DLL is from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem"......

I have reinstalled program several times and can not solve this problem.....Any idea please?

I seem to recall when I set mine up needing to receive an e-mail from GCC that enabled my specific computer to use the software. You might need to see if you still have that original e-mail and link to it.
Yes that is the problem I am running in to with Great Cut......I have 2 licenses and can not get either to work.....Just DL trial and 30 day code.....Hopefully that will get me cutting again today...
In GCC Club, there is a new VLCD3 version and all the drivers for your Bengal delete all the drivers you have now and install directly from GCC

I put the VLCD on my desktop cause its easier to get to, there is a .dll icon with it just put that icon on your desktop too no need to use but its there and next to the VLCD screen.

I have never been to access anything in GCC Club.....I am trying to register my Cut-3000 and it will not let me because there is no option to do so.....

GCC Club

gccf.gcc.com.tw/gccclub/register.aspx

Ideally, you were suppose to register your cutter during your installation process.

You should have received a Bengal CD, registration card (black) with numbers to your cutter. Copy your Bengal CD or write the number down off the CD.

Once, inside the GCC Club you will find downloads.

I got in through a side door.....I registered my Expert 24 which I thought I had done years ago.....Still not having any luck registering my Cut-3000....

So I got the new drivers / VLCD3 and I am cutting again....Need to sort out the license issues next week....I am using a 30 day trial.....

As a side note, I have never used VLCD before because it did not work and I never got around to solving my problem.....

The VLCD2 wasn't very user friendly but the VLCD3 works much better. Just leave on your desktop.

What is the Cut-3000 register problem? is it saying its invalid?
There no Cut-3000 on the drop down menu.....
Try this

In GCC Club

> Tech Support (left hand screen)

> 2. Cutter Plotter > Q&A
> 1. How to set multiple plotters with one PC in Great Cut

Hope this helps
I am able to run both plotters fine now.....Same drivers / VLCD3 work for both......

But I am having no luck registering Cut-3000 in GCC Club....

PS....Just found the collection of clipart....Nice little bonus....
There no Cut-3000 on the drop down menu.....
cutter/Bengal
Model Number - BN-60

Cut-3000 is a style name not the model/make of the cutter

The Cut-3000 is a Bengal

make sure you register for the 3 month extended warranty
I got it......It was not giving me an option in the 3rd column....I changed to a different model and then went back to Bengal and it worked.....

Thank You!....

PS...I forgot how noisy the Expert 24 is.....

HaHa, I thought the Bengal was noisy..
Well the Cut-3000 does have a certain "hum" while idle.....But I can live with noise level while it is cutting....

I think my next cutter will be a 40" Zencut Black which looks to be a re-branded GCC Jaguar....
The last issue I had was re-instating my licence number on Great Cut....After a brief conversation with Ricardo at GCC I was all fixed up.....
