Just letting you know there are refillable cartridges for the 4880 available that come with auto resetting chips. You can find those here:

A good source of pigmented inks for the R1800 i have found here: Desktop Compatible Ink for Epson Stylus Photo R1800 Printers

They also have a lot of bulk ink systems and CISS's but their CISS systems only come with dye ink right now. So the only way to use the pigmented ink is to buy refillable cartridges: Refillable Cartridge Compatible with the R1800 Cartridge
