Hi ya'll.. I ran out of ink cleaner. Waiting for supplies (3 days) but need to clean out some screens asap. Is there a store bought (local) alternative I can use for now?

Mineral Spirits available at any hardware store. Just use gloves and make sure you have good ventilation, or wear a respirator for extra safety.

Another (water soluble and not toxic like mineral spirits) solvent that will dissolve plastisol is called Goo-Gone. You can buy that anywhere.

Hi just use an 'all purpose thinner' works a treat, it's quick and cheap and will have you back printing t shirts in no time

All will work. Just be careful with the stronger chemicals for you health. Depending on your emulsion some of these can either break down the emulsion or even lock the emulsion if your chemicals start to soak in.

Goo gone is probably the safest alternative.
