I hate holding to much stock but i begrudge paying big postage costs it really eats into your profits on low margin products. Ralawise prestige leisure both have £250 min order for free shipping. Anyone know any companies with lower priced min orders for free shipping?

Try elms and elms, lower prices and no minimum order as far as I can remember.

oops sorry they don't have free shipping. I don't know of any who do. If you're only wanting 1/2 dozen tshirts of one size, try ebay as they are often cheaper than buying just a few tshirts from a wholesaler who then charges P&P

Yep, I use Ralawise online all the time, and now I don't order until 8pm, so I can squeeze in all the last minute orders

Typical, I spoke too soon as they stuffed up last night and never got my order out Now puts me a day behind. Think I will order a bit earlier in future as it seems lots of people are now starting to order later and they must not have enough staff working that late to cope.

have you looked at Absolute Apparel? They sell everything at carton rates and shipping is not to bad. they dont have as wide a selection though.

Do you have contact with a rep from Ralawise. You might be able to get a better deal on the shipping depending on how much you use them.

Sorry for this late input but BTC Activewear are by far the best t-shirt Distributor in the UK. They came up with the next day delivery on orders placed online up to 8pm before anyone and offer free carriage for high users on orders as low as £100 otherwise carriage is £5.99 - the lowest in the industry.
Not only is their carriage the cheapest all their prices are carton prices so if you order 1 or 10 you get the best prices instead of having to order 10 - 25 of 1 size like others do!

We have been using them for 10 years - like anyone they have there problems but on average they are always better than the other distributors as we work with them all

Do companies such as Ralawise mentioned above trade with small fry garment printers, ie I'm just starting out with sales by garment printing from home. I will need to find blanks. Which are the best companies in UK to deal with in my situation?

Ralawise seem welcoming when you first start up as every start up has the potential to turn into a bigger firm.
The only thing is you have to spend £150 to get free caridge which can be alot when you first start.

not sure if this is of interest but we order from Hanes on a daily basis, would be happy to supply Hanes/Stedman and Nano at mutually benificial rates to those who only order a low number at a time, we are a mail order company so sending T's out all day long in 1's and 2's, just a thought....

I've just started using Ralawise and was surprised when they automatically gave me a £250 credit limit!
I've used elms and elms and fell out with them (Very rude)
Another company I got details for but have not yet used are Prestige Leisure but I think the majority charge at least £6 shipping on smaller orders, just how it is I guess.
