Finished putting back together R2000 build based on v2 cluebook. On the first power up printer head moves couple of times left-right and get 2 moves of the drive shaft (couple of seconds each). Everything seems ok while this is going on but then i get all 3 lights blinking (power (green),paper ink (both orange)).
I was just wandering if adjustment program would give me a more descriptive message as to what the problem might be. Ran across some posts mentioning adjustment program but was not sure if thats what i needed. Also checked and found adjustment program for r1900 but not r2000. I am wandering if that would work.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Be sure platen is not installed and no contact with PE. Also be sure bed is at rear so it can feed on startup.

Thanks Randy!

I figured that was the case. One thing that I did differently is the design of the platen. In my case what I am ultimately trying to achieve is to print on round objects. I have seen a few videos on internet of a few commercial units printing on ornaments, baseballs etc. Not sure if it is even possible although it must be since they are out there.

My drive shaft is moving 2 bars (friction) that would be used for round objects to sit on while printing. During the start up I get through the solid green light for about 10 seconds but then as I place roll of paper on the bars printer errors out. (blinking power (green),paper, ink (both orange)))

If anyone has any pointers I would very much appreciate it.

What mode are u in roll, manual, sheet.
The head looks for different things in diff modes. Roll will look for a square left corner plus forward edge of platen.

Tried all 3 hoping for different results but got the same error.
Read in other threads about putting aluminum tape over pw sensor (since in this case i dont have the corner/edge) so tried that as well thinking it might do something different but same again.

Try using the Epson driver with the Epson monitor and see what it says or if you can find the adjustment program for the 2000. I assume you are tripping the PE.
Do you ever get a solid green light prior to loading object?

Monitor is not giving me anything to go by, outside of the paper jam error when i tried putting the object in during the start up.
Something might be off with the sequence i am executing the pe switch (by hand), clicking print and placing the object in. I tried every possible combination with no luck.
Yes, I get a green light for about 10 seconds and then all the lights start blinking (power - green, ink and paper - orange).
What would be the right mode that i should run the printer in this case? Also, any advice on the sequence for pe switch, clicking print button and placing the object in?

I know this is an old thread but am wondering if anyone has gotten around this issue? I have the green light (literally and figuretively) until I send file to printer. Then, I get the orange light blinking on the paper feed button. The error on the computer either says paper misfeed or no paper detected. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
