Hi,

Printing sleeves can be fiddly depending on the style of garment. If they are long sleeves you will need to use the youth platen. If they are short sleeves you can use the youth platen with the baby grow insert. Some of our customers have used sign board cut to shape which also seems to work very well.

We are in the process of developing a purpose built sleeve platen to allow both sleeves to be printed at the same time in one pass. This will make the process much quicker and less fiddly. I personally would avoid sleeve printing as it takes as long as a normal print but the end price will not stand being doubled for the extra print.

This info is based on the R-Jet 5 :) the R-Jet 3 is not currently able to print on sleeves as it only has two platen configurations.

Printing onto towels is the same as a t shirt, you just need to make sure the height of the towel is correct including the fibres that stick up.

Once you get your R-Jet 5 you should contact me to activate a login to our global support site. You will have answers to questions answered normally within the hour.

Best regards

Hi Colin,
More question
And for print on cap is come in soon or not
Hi,

Caps are best decorated by another method. Very time consuming with DTG no matter which printer you use. We don't have any plans to develop a cap attachment.

As a cap does not need to feel soft or light using a print and cut transfer is the easiest method. Or use an inkjet transfer paper mirror printed to make the transfers on the R-Jet.

Regards

Colin
