so i tried to make a beanie with vinyl which didnt work so i ended up doing tons of research and order the brother se400 my only issue is it only has 4x4 embroidery space which is not very bigg but i dont have the extra 200 to 300 to buy the one with 5 x 7 space. i read i can by the large re positional hoop. will this work? who else has the brotherse400 is it good for you? i order thread and also a hat hoop to go along with the large hoop and i ordered tear away stabilizers. Again i have never sewn or embroidered ever in my life so all my info is from google and youtube. i make shirts for a few companies and the security company is extra excited because they would love their logos embroidered rather than vinyl. Im still researching how to change my files into files i can xfer to my brother se400 i make all my designs in cricut design space.

ANY HELP, TRICKS, or ADVICE WOULD BE GREAT!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH

Your graphic files would have to be professionally digitized, with embroidery software, to become stitch files. There is no (good) way of doing a direct conversion.
I say that because you will find some embroidery software offering an "auto-digitize" function. The results CANNOT compare to a competent digitizer doing it for you.
If you search this site there have been quite a few posts giving pros and cons of different digitizers.

Wow that is so sad so basically I would need to buy separate software and redo the designs I have already made such as the companies logos

the se400 can accept files with the .pes extension . I owned one and it worked great. One day I was doing jeans on it with the wrong needle and something inside the machine broke ( because its so cheap ) . To repair would have cost half the price of a new one so I tossed it and never looked back.

The minimum machine you should buy is a janome they start at about $5,000.

That is correct. Even if you purchase software to digitize the logo, you will still need to spend a LOT of time learning how to do it correctly. You better option is to find a good digitizer (like Dana in this forum) and have them digitize the logo for you.

If you are looking to do this 'commercially' instead of as a hobby, I would suggest looking into something like one of the Brother/Babylock 6 needle machines. You can embroider up to 7x11 and the 6 needles allow you to not spend all your time changing colors. Just my $0.02...
