I wouldn't recommend storing your press closed. If your press is equipped with a rubberized platen this could effect the rigidity of the rubber, which could create problems. I also agree with Kriscad, that would be bad for a closed heat press to be left on overnight. I'm sure your local Fire Department will thank you in the morning.
