Does the program that comes with a vinyl cutter usually do what is done here?

http://www.xpres.co.uk/xpulthow.asp

If so, I could just very well print on the transfer paper and have it cut through the vinyl cutter right?

I'm really trying to eliminate the hassle of cutting around muti-colored images that are not necessarily in box form. I want the designs to be repetitive, not funky looking.

Thanks a bunch! This forum has been a huge help!! I visit every day. And its saving me a lot of problems I would have had!!:D

Hi There,

I've use the Xpres ultragraphics with a vinyl cutter quite extensively.

Give me a shout if you need any specific advice.

Regards,
Justin

You must use a vinyl cutter with an optical eye sensor. This sensor reads registration points that you print out on the transfer paper and then trims around your image accordingly. The Roland GX-24 is the most cost effective that I have seen for this process.
