Hello everyone,

I have a question about the process needed to be taken when my company creates the design for another businesses logo that we will be screen printing onto t-shirts. I really need to know what kind of charge is fair, as well as is there any paperwork for art rights needed to be made? Thanks a million!

When you create a logo for someone, you generally don't retain any rights, unless it's for portfolio promotional purposes only.

Don't try to hold the logo hostage for your print work. That would be considered shady. When someone buys logo design, it should come with the digital artwork file for future use elsewhere.

As to what to charge, well, how much is your time worth? How long did it take you to create it?
