Hi Everyone,

I am checking what type of waterproof ink (For heat transfer ) is better if i wanted to print on Tshirt and maybe some vinyl decal in the future.

Is it Pigment ink or Eco Solvent. i am looking for a home based printer , maybe size of A4 will do and i am stuck between Pigment and Eco solvent.

Heard that Eco solvent will dry up fast and it will damage the printer head. the printer will be very costly as compared to Pigment ink printer.

Thanks. sorry i am very new to the industry.

Pigment is ink is not made for printing on htv or standard vinyl,Unless its printable vinyl which isnt very good.. I believe you want eco-solvent.

Eco Solvent or solvent is what is best.
Roland is a great brand to look at if you go that route.
We have been using their printers for about 14 years and are very happy with them.
