Hello, I had a question about the smart designs vector packs. I downloaded some of their free packs to play around with, and according to their instructional video on the site it says you can edit the text in the art to whatever you want. It looks like he's using Corel Draw in the video, but the packs come in both CDR and EPS format, so I tried editing the text in Illustrator but it's not working. Does anyone have any suggestions - maybe I'm doing something wrong? Thanks!

I think that while you can edit the designs in AI...not sure you can do the auto text replacement. I think you need CorelDraw and SmartDesigner..same version as corel draw THEN you can do auto text replacement...Maybe someone else has better idea...but I would call Smartdesigns.com at 800.959.7627 and go to tech support..

Thanks I think you're right - I tried it in Corel Draw and I was able to edit the text, I guess it won't work properly in Illustrator.
