Hi, i made a 8x8 screen printing and now i want to made a flash dryer, could someone help to know wish is better: heating element or quartz lamps and if anyone know a supplier of these parts in Perú. Thanks.

I dont think lamps will get hot enough to cure the ink. Do you know what temp thequartz lamps get up to?

I need for flashing plastisol inks to 200-300 F, and I think made it with stand adjustable height, heater size 18 x18", 220 volt. Thanks.

I agree, you would need heating elements. Google would be the only way I would know of a supplier. BTW, nice job on the press.

Double check your ink directions. I think Plastisol needs to get up to 325 deg. to cure properly.

quartz lamps get plenty hot and are preferred in many instances b/c they cure faster the heating elements. you can flash for 3 seconds with a good quartz set up and 5-7 seconds with a IR panel.

BUT... it is easier to make a IR flash at home.

I made other screen printing 1x1 because y want to improve the desing. Regarding the flash is still pending because in my country do not sell quartz lamps

WOw!I Love your workmanship.Am from East Africa Kenya and commercial equipments are rare to find and if they are there they are way to expensive for people starting out like myself.Do you have plans or more pictures for presses (interested in that 8 by 8) and other of your builds?I may appreciate alot.And how do you construct the micro registrations am interested in those?

Where did you get plans to make the press with out clashing with patents etc??

The rotary press is a pretty common design and based on the pictures posted I don't think there is any patented features copied. And second, I believe the press is for personal use.

Thats a simple design. Show its underside to l guess that will show how it makes its diagonal adjustments.Thanks for these great photos l like great engineered stuff.You build these systems for sale?Coz if you aint l dont know what you still waiting.You did cast some of the parts right from premade moulds l guess. Great workmanship!
