Backed up with a rush on a number of jobs and just had a problem popup that I'm sure a lot of folks run into. Low on emulsion and ordered a new gallon and had qtx delivered, not the qtx1 I normally use. Just curious if anyone has % difference between the two. Research tells me qtx is a faster burn, but hoping I won't need to do a test screen.
If anyone has any thoughts, I'd really appreciate it.

I'll answer my own question here having found a solution from another posted and answered question. I found that switching from qtx1 which required about a 17 min exposure was dropped to 8 min with qtx and worked reasonably well. These exposures re done with a 500 watt halogen set up with about 20 inches of space between the screen and bulb. So if you are wondering the qtx is about twice as fast as qtx1. This isn't exact and if it was hyper-technical or defined work the screen was a little tough to wash out, but it did work fine with my image and my time restraints.

QTX and QX-1 serve different ink markets

An early pioneer in pre-sensitized emulsion, QTX has been the the world's best-selling textile emulsion since the early 1990's.

Introduced on 2001, QX-1 is a pre-sensitized dual-cure emulsion so it exposes at half the speed of QTX. It has 10% fewer solids than QTX with with only 37% solids.
