Just completed a big order of purple shirts (Bella/Canvas). About 1 in 5 shirts would end up with pink areas on the shirt after pre-treat/curing. Some severe - almost looked like bleach had been spilled on it.

Tried both Image Armor and Firebird.

Tried less treatment, lower heat, everything, and still the same.

Were able to fulfill the order but added a lot of time and cost.

Any thoughts?

As an experiment try pretreating, heat drying, pretreating again, and heat drying again. This might help keep the dye from the shirt from migrating into the print when it get's heated for curing. You can try this on a few shirts up front.

Speaking for the FIREBIRD, keep the temp around 325 and at a low pressure. You might need to baby it a bit if you're printing on a blend.
