call HIX corporation.. THEY ARE THE BEST TRANSFER HEAT PRESSES ON THE MARKET..in my opinion.. you can link them thru screenprinters.net then click industy links ang go under equipment..
Your going to have to buy a used press on Ebay for that price or a new one but the size is going to be small.
You may wanna save another 2 to 3 hundred before buying. Ive only had my 15x15 Stahls and I feel its been outgrown already. For roughly $650, you can get a nice press of about the same size. Unless you are are only going to do baby clothes, mousepads and other items of about the same size, youll need one that size.
We went the extra mile and purchased a 16x20 so we could do more than shirts. Just a note on this one. Get the stand. The press weighs 220lbs and was booger to move. Just getting on the stand was a real task. ;)
I just bought one from Coastal. It should be here in a few days. I'll let you know what I think and you can see if they have something to fit your needs.

But I will say this, save til you can get a bigger press. That;s what I was told here, so that's what I did.

Actually you can. Imprintables offer forum members "5% Off Best Posted Price & Free Shipping" on the Mighty Press and free shipping on the Phoenix Phire, but for some reason a lot of people (seem to) keep ignoring the T-shirt forums member exclusive price list.

(I can understand that there are many equally fine companies to purchase equipment from, including the entirely reputable Coastal, and that one may choose not to go with Imprintables, but the forum seems eerily unaware that there's a good deal waiting right there over yonder)

Ive been thinking the same thing...
I have not found a good deal on any heat press. They are all TOO HIGH !
Impritables does not have the lowest price. I have found the same press on the net for a hundred dollars less.
I got my press from Josh...just pm'ed him for a price and away we went. Easiest transaction ever with some vinyl samples as well. There is a stock transfer company that has a 15x15 for around $450.00 if you purchase $300 worth of transfers. Thats a bunch of transfers ready to print. You can find the press for less on e-bay and the net but you have to watch shipping costs and the most horrible of all....drop shipping from a company that doesnt have the product in stock. That company in Acy Louisiana is notoriously slow and all over e-bay so be careful.

They first have to sell the press I wanted.

A word on free shipping. This gets the truck to your location but if you don't have a loading dock you may be charged up to $160 for 'pallet jack service'. Our heat press was shipped with a stand and the total weight was over 300lbs. There was no way I could have lifted it off the truck and we don't have a loading dock. Fortunately, the driver was in a hurry and put it on his lift gate, dropped the gate to the street and wheeled it over to our building. I helped him push it up a little incline and he was on his way.

So, be sure to include in your shipping instructions a phone number, that you want an appointment and don't mention they have to unload it. If you do you may be paying for unloading when you don't have to. The drivers will not be happy to have to jockey your shipment around for the rest of the day if they can't deliver so they may just take it off the truck to avoid the hassle.

I think if you know a 300lb press is going to be delivered you might think about how you are going to receive said delivery.

I did know. I was going to have the driver take it off the truck. :D

I will admit that I over looked them, but when I was asking about companies to buy from no one said anything about them.

If they are such a good deal, I wish someone would have post them when I needed to know where to go.

I'm pretty sure I mentioned them in that thread (or Josh from imprintables posted to it himself with the link in his signature :))

No worries though, I'm sure you got a great press at a great price from Coastal.
Yeah, you're talking about few bucks either way. The good thing is that you went with a good brand and Coastal gets rave reviews from many members (especially Lou!!!)
I give any company that display great customer service good reviews. My business is largly word of mouth and if I want to do buisnees I need to be sure that my service is the best also. However If you mess with me.. well lets just say.. I speak loudly and far. Josh, I have yet to use your company but I bet you offer outstanding service also. Lou
