problem with my viper

greetings , i have a dtg viper that i bought in 1014 , i traveled and brought it to the carribean with me hoping that i could use it , but since it reached , i have one error message 0001001D and since then , it never worked , i see it says that the problem comes with the carrier , but i checked averything and could never get it to work , i was wondering what to do with this machine as i have to relocate now so would it be usefull to keep it and try get it fix in europe , or would it be better to try sell it or even just leave it behind me and loose the money i did invest , thanx to let me know if you have a good advice for me . .
