Problem with my Roland GX 24 Plotter USB Connection

Are you using a Mac? I seem to recall from my very distant past that Apple use a cross over cable..not sure but you could check?

Thank you Charles, I don't have a mac. I have 2 different laptops- sony viao & a gateway. I think it's time for an upgrade on the laptop & time to get a new plotter. B/4 I throw in the towel I'll try one last cable that is coming in next week*crossing fingers* it works

Try rolands site or fry's ,best buy, or radio shack. they may have them also.

Got to Radio Shack and tell them you need a Null Modem adapter. This will make your straight through cable cross over.
