I recently purchased a used DTG M2 printer. I am having a couple problems getting it setup. The first problem is when I push the load button the printer shakes and has a hard time loading the bed. It keeps popping the E 065 error x motor error. After resetting it and trying multiple times now the display doesn't show anything. The roll light is off and the power light is a faint green not blue but the data light is on. Anyone have any ideas??

The error 065 usually means there is no power from the main board to the PF motor, this could be a motor fault or the IC (chip) that drives the motor on the mainboard has blown. No display is either a fault on the ribbon cable from the display to the mainboard, or the RED circular fuse FH8 has blown on the mainboard.

I replaced the ribbon cable from main board to control board and no change. I also noticed the fans hooked to the main board are not working either. I assume the main board is shot and and needs to be replaced. Does this sound about right?

Not 100% that the mainboard is dead, the fuse that is related to that on the mainboard is repairable. Its the round red fuse (FH8) near the ribbon cables. Check to see if it has blown, replace and test the printer before throwing out a good mainboard.
