Problem with encoder strip
Several days ago I replaced the encoder strip the print head
drive belt and ribbon cable from the head. Only the head
and encoder strip were bad the others are 5 years old
and were precautionary. Since then after only 10 prints
I have to clean the encoder strip because of the ink
buildup on the strip. There is as much buildup in 10
prints as there usually is for a days printing. Has anybody
else had this problem? It seems like there is static attracting
the ink spray too it.
