When I go to emulsion the screens the emulsion after it is dry is like not a solid coat it looks like dotty (never had this problem before). There are circles lighter then other darker. Really nasty looking emulsion job. Sorry I can't be much more descriptive. Got any ideas?
What emulsion are you using?

Sorry man...Have been on vacation :)

It truly sounds like you have moisture in your emulsion. We use QTX as well (good choice) If the lighter dots wash out faster and the darker dots wash out slower this could be the issue. QTX has a 1 yr shelf life under normal conditions. If you ordered a quart sized jar of it you may get emulsion that is very close to this shelf life. They simply don't move as fast and sometimes suppliers as well as manufacturers will push the shelf life envelope with the smaller portions. Also, If it's gotten too cold or too hot it will develop water spots inside the emulsion that won't be apparent until the screen is dry. You might call your supplier and tell them...Usually they will allow you to return it so "they" can research the problem themselves. If it's not a chronic issue on your end they "should" send you a replacement supply.
