I got big problem with my Brother GT541 - I live far away from USA and closest Brother dealer is 1200km from me.
After 1000 prints I replaces ink cartridges to new (original) .
After 100 prints problem with blue color was starting .
If picture start with blue - all is perfect. If with any other color then blue don't print approx 3 lines then start print.
If I make picture in Photoshop very blue then all prints OK .
If I print light blue sky - then i don't see blue sky . Only some grey points. I change head to new - but problem is same.
Head is OK. Some thing else is wrong.
PS. On test page blue color fade in with small delay.

Sounds like a leak / crack in the ink line. How old is the printer?

I would replaced the ink line... that worked for me. I also replaced the cap assembly and suction tube. Well the technician did!!

Printer is year 2008 - but only 1 set of cartridges is worked out . Only 1200 prints. No air in ink lines.
I will try to convert pictures and post in forum. Temperature in room is constant 21C.
