i'm currently doing my designs in Inkscape... here's the deal. in Inkscape, my designs look great (obviously)...just like i created them. BUT...when i open those designs to view them in my Safari browser, the text is misplaced, what WAS blurred isn't anymore, and a lot of other effects are moved slightly. basically, it doesnt look right at all.

what can i do to fix this and prevent it from happening with future designs?

appreciate any help i can get!

What browser are you using?
[EDIT] Oops, at first I didn't see you use Safari. But anyway, see below.
If you use Firefox 3, it should come out perfect.
If you are using IE7 with Adobe plug-in for SVG, you will get lousy results.

Else download Apaches Batik SVG viewer, it is also perfect. Batik is Java based.

Ah, I guess I misunderstood. I thought you were exporting the designs for use on a web page. Why would you be viewing SVG files in a web browser? Checking to see if someone else can view them in a web browser? If so I would think you'd want to check against IE & FF.
