Hey all,

I just did my first "heat press job" using my vinyl cutter and an iron..... Now my GF's cousin wants shirts for her business. its like a 6-7 color image so i would think printing it on then using a heat press would be the best method.

Since this is my first inkjet heat transfer job i am clueless on which paper to try. I dont have the funds or the time to sample everyones paper. I'm using a cannon MP640 inkjet printer. I'm specifically asking about pro world's paper because if i get this job i will most likely buy a heat press from them and use their $99 press with $300 worth of material.

ps what is the average price for just printing a 10x10 inkjet heat transfer?

First make sure your GF cousin wants white shirts. Also make sure your printer uses pigment ink because the dye ink will bleed. If she wants dark shirts you will have to contour cut the design with your cutter and you will have to use special paper for dark fabrics.

I do very few ink jet transfers but I switched from an Epson pigment printer because it was clogging all the time to a Cannon MP560 and have noticed no difference in longevity, nor any bleeding.
