I am trying to print the blackest black possible onto transparent film for exposing screens with. I use Versaworks and have a Roland VP=300....Any setttings or suggestions would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance

CMYK of 100 each will most likely puddle on the media. A true black is 100%K with preserve primary color selected in versaworks. A better way to do it would be to use the Roland spot color of RVW_BK21A or for the simplest way to get a true black is to use RGB 0,0,0

Binki is right on the darkest color you can get at 100 CMYK each channel though
