Printing Transparencies on a HPofficejet 7000 (not opaque)

Hello everyone. I'm using an HP Officejet 7000 to print my transparencies. Question is, is there a way to make them more opaque? Print quality is ok but if I expose them a little too long I get UV bleed-through and it's very hard to wash out my images. I was wondering if I could buy a 3rd party ink that may be better suited for this? Any help would be appreciated.

try and change your printer settingins to "photo premium paper" that should make them pretty dark

When you say transparancies do you mean inkjet film or overhead projector transparancies? Overhead projector transparancies are not designed to accept a heavy coat of ink. I have seen people double them, but this generally loses some detail. God Bless.

HP ink isn't as uv dense as Epson, it is possible to get a usable positive but with lower exposure latitude.

I just bought a CISS for the officejet7000, can add a different ink, like the epson ink?

NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
HP boil inks which creates an explosive bubble. Epson have a crystal that flexes. Epson ink will probably just crud the head up.
You can probably get a screen positive ink for HP heads, most seem to be for Epson.

Where could I find this "screen positive ink" at?
i have an officejet 7000 too, i use an inkjet film positive, and i set my ink settings on the heaviest ink or maximum, i get good opaque positives, my only problem is where to buy Ciss for my officejet

I actually just bought a CISS from ebay. I will send you a message after I get it working to let you know how good of a job it does. I think I may have had some cheap emulsion because the new emulsion is working better with my transparencies.

please do inform me if the ciss works good for HP officejet7000, specifically about ink to use on a ciss, can we use different types of ink? dye or pigment? for heat transfer papers something like that
