Pretty much anything can be screen printed with the right set up.

Cylindrical items as small diameter as a pen, shot glasses, bottles and 50 gallon drums can be screen printed, and with a flat screen.

You can do a vast array of materials such as glass, wood, metal, plastic, paper, leather and rubber.

Do an internet search and you'll be quite surprised at the items and products imprinted by screen printing.

OK. Think about painting. There's TONS of things you can paint...houses, cars, murals, canvas, popsicle sticks etc.
Each one pretty much requires different equipment/brushes and such.
Each one pretty much requires a different type of paint...acrylic, watercolor, oil etc.
Of each type of paint, there are numerous brands/manufacturers.
And of each brand, there isn't necessarily a best.

Same with screen printing.
